Client vs. Content

Well, that’s what it seems like sometimes when working with a client who has determined “they’ll do the content”, only to have the site held up (for months, a year?) as we wait for… content.

I’m going to attempt this on my next large project. We have a designer, a developer and client services person involved, why wouldn’t we have an editor?

Web Users Don’t Read

They scan. And this shouldn’t be news to anyone building websites – Web users don’t read. And Jakob Nielsen supports it with his latest post to Alertbox.

“Summary: On the average Web page, users have time to read at most 28% of the words during an average visit; 20% is more likely.”
