Alternative gifts for the holidays

I learned about alternativegifts.org through a local craft fair in Hanover, NH. You can provide funds to help relieve suffering in Darfur/Sudan, bring peace keepers to schools in the middle east, restock the shelves at soup kitchens in the US, or help provide solar power for the Lakota Sioux so they can reduce their energy bills. A great gift idea for the hard-to-buy-for/already-has-plenty person on your list!
