My acquiantance with Mexican Jumping Beans…

Mexican Jumping Beans, taken with useless phone cameraI guess I’ve lived a sheltered life. Considering I’ve traveled to Mexico and the southwest many times, you’d think I’d have encountered Mexican Jumping Beans in person. Well yesterday, sitting on my husband’s desk in Baker Library, at Dartmouth College, in Hanover, NH, were these amazing Beans, which some people choose as pets. Apparently there’s a bug inside trying to eat way out, which makes the beans “jump.” Fascinating.

UVAA Site is posted

I finally got the UVArts.org site up and running. I aimed to do this with quick-loading CSS positioning, and only one table. This is an ongoing process, with some additional design elements coming from the designer (not me in this case!) Other new elements to come include the addition of bios/photos for each of the steering committee members, as well as some advanced features, like a calendar of events.

So far so good, but if you see anything quirky, let me know!!
